  • How to write a check

Even though checks aren't the most common method of payment you may still have a need to write one from time to time. Let's refer to the chart below for a crash course on check writing!

    Step 1: Date the check
Step 2: Write the recipient of the check. In this case, you are writing a check to Ray's Computer Repair
Step 3: Write the numeric amount of the check. In this case, $68.95
Step 4: Spell out the amount of the check. In this case, Sixty-Eight and 95/100
Step 5: Your checks will either say "For" or "Memo" in the bottom left-hand corner. Here you will write a reminder to yourself of what the check is for.
    Step 6. Sign the check

"Step into the arena and hold on to your hat. Don't get discouraged if you don't make 8 trillion dollars in your first month. Trading is not a get rich quick scheme. Realize that trading is a skill and just like any other skill it takes time to learn. Have convictions in your decisions in life and trading. Ignore the comments and "advice" of those that have never traded a day in their life."
